As I was finishing my edits for this post, I found it getting warmer and warmer in my office! It was magical until I realized my dog stepped on the thermostat control from my phone! Oh well, if we can’t have warm weather, we can at least admire it and day dream! From the moment I met Christine and Michael, I was certain we would be in for a cozy, loving, intimate, day… and it sure was! Cozy ended up meaning it was the hottest day of the year! Their special day took place at the home Christine grew up in. It’s actually a small farm! During hurricane Sandy, the barn where their wedding was held, had been destroyed. With some blood, sweat and tears, they restored the place they will now cherish for the rest of their lives. If rebuilding wasn’t enough, they created all of the signs on the property, centerpieces, bridesmaids purses, invitations, drink menus and seating charts on glass windows, a photo booth, and just about any little detail you can think of… they made it! They brought in Suburban Camping Company for some luxurious lawn accommodations for their partied out guests! I wanted to sleep over! Although the wedding and details were so amazing, what really stood out for me the most was just how much love and honor was present, it was palpable. The relationships between the couple with their families and friends were much like the kind we dream about. Enjoy this peek into their beautiful day.

I love this shot, you can feel her breath and excitement.
The ceremony was right in the back yard!
Note to brides, please do this, as it allows me to chomp and run!
