Liberty House Wedding: See Why 2 Dumbasses Married Each Other

Posted on October 19, 2017      by adrienne

I know, I know. How could I call them dumbasses? I didn't! They did! Wait? What kind of couple calls one another a "Dumbass"?  Before anyone winds up in a tizzy, this is how Jennifer and Jeffrey jokingly addressed each other on the front of their wedding day cards. This unique term of endearment actually began during their first week of dating! One day they came up with the idea of making greeting cards for all sorts of weird occasions, like, "Congrats on your divorce, dumbass!" (affair, losing your job... you get the picture.) Although they never followed through on making cards, they both secretly...

Perona Farms Wedding: Beautiful Winter Wedding: Andover, NJ

Christina and Jonathan have been friends of mine for almost 7 years! Naturally, when they announced their engagement, I had hoped they would choose me to photograph their wedding. Winner, winner... they did! I kind of have this thing of wanting to take care of my friends and make sure they are in good hands for their wedding photographs. (Whether that's with me or someone I help them choose,  I like to be involved.) Being a part of their wedding, at Perona Farms, was exciting, beautiful, and so meaningful to me. The two of them are so sweet and loving towards one another, it's hard not to feel...

Amy & Eric’s Wedding at Nanina’s in the Park

Meet Amy and Eric! Here's another beautiful wedding at Nanina's in the Park and another amazing hometown couple! Even though it was back to back, I had so much fun finding new places to shoot, as well as visiting my pals, the incredible staff, at Nanina's again. Amy  & Eric had a beautiful summer day to make it official! On this Veteran's Day, I thought it would be fitting to share that Eric served in the US Army.  Thanks for your service, Eric! Amy lived across the street from my best friend growing up.  It was an honor to be with her on such a special day. Amy, you grew up to be a beautiful,...

Traci & Vic’s Wedding : Nanina’s in the Park

I was thrilled when Traci and Vic contacted me to photograph their wedding!  Traci and I have known each other for years. We share the same hometown and even ended up in a college microbiology class together, many years later. (Traci and her brother, Scott, may have been the source of my passing grades for that course, wink, wink!) Melissa and I went to their home and had the pleasure of meeting Vic for the first time. I was certain she was in good hands from the moment we walked in! As we chatted, attempted to ride the hoverboard,  and laughed over Vic's unlimited supply of coconut oil, we knew...

Montclair Art Museum Wedding – Amanda & Keenan

It's always a blast when someone from your home town hires you to shoot their wedding! It's an even bigger blast when a bunch of old high school friends are there too! I loved spending the day with Amanda & Keenan! We started with Keenan, first, at the couple's apartment. They have a cat named Delta Burke, who made it clear I wasn't welcomed into their bedroom! I think she needed privacy to process why her parent's weren't allowing her to attend the big day. Anyway, I think she got over it! We hung out with Keenan and the guys before heading over to Amanda's sister's house to catch up with...

Carl & Lilly’s Wedding at the Conservatory at Sussex County Fairgrounds 9/13/15

Carl & Lilly's wedding was quite different from ever other wedding I've photographed! Not only did they give me my own custom tuxedo tank top with back labeled 'Photographer', but they got ready together, AND had a bouncy house, AND a ball pit, AND a bad ass Chevrolet 10 classic car to take photos with! We started early in the morning at a nearby hotel and headed over to The Conservatory Sussex County Fairgrounds  for photos and festivities.  I love having an opportunity to be a part of someone's day where I'm welcomed just like friends and family. Here's a little peek at their day......

Dana & Justin Full Moon Resort

I photographed Dana & Justin's wedding almost 1 year ago (May 2015).  After looking back through the images, I decided they needed to be blogged!  I had an EPIC time sharing the day (and night) with Dana, Justin and their amazing crew.  As I remember, almost everything you can think of that could happen, did.  We had sun, got rained on, were bit by bugs that cause bleeding (I still have a scar), many drinks, lots of dancing, crowd surfing, tears, laughs, broken things, guitars, singers, fireworks, and lots of love! I was treated like family, and that means the world to me. Dana & Justin,...

Brian & Kristen at Basking Ridge Country Club

Brian and Kristen are one of those couples that you just know are real. When we first met, it was abundantly clear how playful they are; they complement each other in a comical way.  They generate and encourage a space of fun, silliness, and excitement. What I captured at their wedding was a total match for that, as you'll see throughout this post. Brian & Kristen, along with their guests, made my assistant and I feel like we a part of the party. They even made us a survival snack bag for the day (thank you)! Here's a peek at their awesome day. Venue: Basking Ridge Country Club Video:...

Stefanie & Marco – The Atrium at STEM, Kean University

Yeah, I know, I have a year and a half to fill in.  How about I start with Stefanie and Marco?   About a year before their wedding, we spent an afternoon at the Brookside Diner in Whippany, NJ,  creating what their day would be like.  They even shared their fries with me... swoon!  Being that they regularly make fun of each other on Facebook, I knew we were going to be a good match, but had only a small glimpse at what tremendously funny, yet passionate, people Stef and Marco are.  Their ceremony was at one of the coolest churches I've been to, Our Lady of Sorrows, Roman Catholic Church,...

Dianna & Fredy {Hoboken Wedding Photographer}

Posted on August 1, 2014      by adrienne

Fredy and Dianna are getting married this Saturday!  I thought it might be a great idea to get their friends and family into the wedding spirit with a little preview from their engagement shoot.  These two had their first date and also got engaged in Hoboken. Being it's such a sentimental city to them, we decided it was the perfect backdrop for an engagement session. We had such a fun day together! We walked from the Hoboken train station, down to ONIEAL'S (where they got engaged), and a few stops along the way.  Here are some of my favorites from the day.
