Waterloo Village Wedding: One of the Best Wedding Venues in Sussex County New Jersey
Last week I photographed a beautifully emotional wedding at Waterloo Village! I was so impressed by how gorgeous, rustic, yet updated their party site is! We had 'photo ops' around every corner! Couples searching for rustic wedding venues in New Jersey either tend to venture west, north, and north-west! If you're looking for an opportunity to celebrate in some of the most beautiful landscapes in New Jersey, here are some secret locations that you I will let you in on.
Rock Island Lake Club is one of my favorite places! They not only takes such great care of their clients, but the vendors that work there too. Although it's a new venture for the owners, who also have a sister venue, Bear Brook Valley, they have 26 years of experience in wedding services under their belts! Rock Island runs like a well oiled machine. Rock Island lake club really does have a lake that they'll left you go out on in a row boat! This place really hip to modern wedding trends while still having a rustic, secluded flair.
If secluded is what you're looking for, Crossed Keys Estate is the way to go! I'll never forget the first time I arrived at this charming venue locate in Andover, NJ. You will feel like you've left New Jersey and traveled deep into the county's meadows. The experience is so diversified, as you move from the bridal suite, to the intimately lush ceremony location, followed by the reception tent. You'll never feel limited on space or places to take photographs. They have a play area, fire pit, a garden, and even a swing (which is a popular spot for a cute quirky photo!)
There's also the Conservatory at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Agusta, Perona Farms in Andover, Lake Mohawk County Club in Sparta. There are a bunch more locations, but if you're looking for a barn wedding in northern New Jersey, Perona Farms and Waterloo Village are the places for you!
I can't wait to work at Waterloo Village again! If you're going to have a rustic wedding in New Jersey, I highly recommend this historic site! Contact me for more information and you can see more of my work on the home page.
